Philippines incident

FROM LINDA CHUNG TVB BLOG

hello dear fans,
i’m finished my drama “why a sir is called a sir”…i really enjoyed this production and hope when it comes out…you guys will like it too!
It was also very nice seeing so many of you out at the olympics city function today…Im glad to see you all happy, healthy and safe…plz take good care of yourselves and cherish every hour, minute, second, every opportunity, every experience (whether up or down), every family, friend and just life in general, b/c you just never know whats gonna happen tomollo. We all just have to step back sometimes and realize how fortunate we are.

Philippines incident (thoughts and words):
This is such a tragic incident. when i found out i was in total shock…and couldn’t keep my eyes off the television screen…My emotions were running wild…i just really hoped that everyone would be ok in the end.
My greatest sympathy to all victims and family. I can’t imagine wat it must have been like to be held hostage in a bus or anywhere for so many hours…i can’t imagine how hurt it feels to see ur loved ones go so close to you…i can’t imagine how angry you guys must feel towards the mistake of the philippines police force…
I know there is nothing that i can say or anyone can do to reverse this situation.
I just really hope that all victims and family can heal (emotionally and physically) soon….I wish i can give all victims and family a big big SUPER big hug…

Tragedy is just a part of life…no one wants it…but it just still happens…and it just so happened in philippines…plz don’t judge all philippinos…this could have happened anywhere… anyways, Cherish life all!

I found a video of how the philippines police forces could have handled the situation better…then victims could have been saved earlier.

More About "Yes Sir, No Sir"

NO REPOST ALLOW

Linda Chung: In the new drama, "Yes Sir, No Sir". I am to act as a bowling teacher, kind, and especially to act as and 'professional' bowling teacher & coach in advance to learn bowling position which is quite hard. I like bowling, it's fun! But my posture is not correct. This is because acting as the bowling coach, got the opportunity in the company arranged with the series and the actors acting as the students to learn bowling together to participate in the steps of bowling, the correct posture of the classroom, its quite fun, very satisfying!

Linda Chung: In this series, I play sports and work out with the liberal teachers which include Tavia Yeung. Tavia Yeung is an old friend of mine, but in the series we both love Moses Chan. On the other hand, Ron Ng & Tavia Yeung had again admire the views, the four corners of the formation of a complex relationship.

Linda Chung: A group of students then attend in the Bowling Competition, of course, to the scene as a coach I need to give them courage to the students to increase their emotions.

Linda Chung: Moses had a favourable impression in this series.

Linda Chung: In this series, my family background relationship is quite complicated, same goes with a few friends, so I had to indulge in the bowling world.

Linda Chung: "I Am The LUCKY One"

Born in a middle-class family and loved by her parents and older siblings, Linda Chung Ka Yan grew up in a “greenhouse” and was especially protected by God. Due to her good grades during her school years, Linda was favored by her teachers. When Linda turned eighteen years-old, she entered the Miss Vancouver and Miss Chinese International Pageants with a care-free attitude. Signing with TVB, Linda was heavily promoted and did not experience any hiccups in her career. At twenty years-old, she became a lead actress in series. Quickly gaining popularity, she entered the music and film industries four years later. Linda’s ventures in television, music and film have all been successful.

Linda said gratefully, “Since childhood, everything in my life has gone smoothly. There has not been any tumult or great challenges. The biggest frustration was experienced at the start of my career, when I was living alone, without the care of my family. I was lonely due to the new, unfamiliar environment. Compared to other people’s situations, my experiences were not very frustrating in retrospect.”

Although Linda’s career has been smooth and she was quickly elevated to leading actress, she did not initially envision a long-term career in the entertainment industry. Linda’s original intention was to quickly earn enough money to allow her to retire early in Canada . Did Linda’s goal remain unchanged? “Haha! Several years ago, I thought this way. I wanted to only stay in the industry for two to three years. Gradually, I realized it was very difficult to withdraw from the industry. I grew to love this industry and the people I work with. Now, I can not give up my acting career without care. The good actresses in the field, such as Charmaine Sheh Si Man, Jessica Hsuan, Tavia Yang Yi, and Maggie Cheung Ho Yee invested over ten years to refine their skills, gain a strong footing, and establish their fadan status. This can not be accomplished within a short time. I need to invest a long time in order to acquire their acting achievements. Until then, I will not have the courage to refer to myself as a ‘fadan.’ A leading actress is not an automatic fadan. Currently, I am just a little, little, little fadan.”

Rumors Frightened Away Pursuers

Although Linda’s work schedule was busy and colorful, her love life was boring. Since her debut, Linda had romantic rumors with Raymond Lam Fung, Philip Ng Yun Long, Ekin Cheng, Steven Ma Chun Wai, and Johnny Tang Siu Chuen. Denying these rumors, what was Linda truly looking for in a partner? “My parents have urged me to date, but love can not be forced and worry about. The time will come when God is ready to grant you a boyfriend.”
Linda’s rumors with Raymond were the most persistent. Puzzled, Linda said, “I possess a quiet personality and do not understand why these type of rumors arise so frequently. Each time I film a series, I will be linked with my male co-stars. Since I will be filming with Ron Ng Cheuk Hei shortly, perhaps I will have rumors with him next! Although rumors can be used for promotion, they often frighten away genuine pursuers. Many people thought that my rumors with Raymond were real.”

Although her love life is currently empty, Linda’s ultimate goal is to get married and have a family. “For a woman, the most satisfying thing in life is to get married and have children. I am afraid of loneliness, so I will definitely get married and have children. When I grow old, there will be family to take care of me. In the past, I wanted to get married before turning thirty years-old. Now, I will let God make the arrangements.”

"can't Buy Me Love" Cancels 36 Pt Rating Celebration; Tvb Receives Complaints

TVB new series "Can't Buy Me Love" was premiered yesterday and received 36 points ratings. However, Broadcast Authority received 11 complaints, pointing it's inappropriate for TVB to air a comedy. It's known "Can't Buy me Love" would celebrate if ratings is 30+. But producer Mui Siu Ching expressed the celebration event is cancelled and said the point of this series is to send a message of love.

Actors from "Can't Buy Me Love" Charmaine Sheh and Linda Chung have different reactions to high ratings. Charmaine said: "It's contradicting. Don't plan to celebrate. I haven't calm down my mood. Watching the news yesterday, my tears couldn't help but fell." Linda said: "News is news, series is series, how can there be embarrassments? Although I care about people's lives, too, but would still support the series. (It's not suitable to put on a comedy?) Don't know how to answer. I believe company didn't arrange on purpose."

TVB live broadcast the hostage-taking event in Philippines yesterday and received 31 ratings. But some people still complained that it's disturbing to keep reporting "all hostages are dead" during family hour. In addition, someone said foul languages in the news reporting yesterday and external affairs assistant director Tseng Shing Ming said it wasn't TVB reporters who said those things; he believes viewers would understand.
